How to Make Your Household Routine More Fun and Effective

What to do if a single thought of cleaning up turns you in an endless terror? Don’t be afraid of the amount of the future work but split it into several parts. For exapmle instead of cleaning up the whole house tidy up one room but properly.

Here are some simple tips to make the process of tidying up a more pleasant activity.

  • Choose the room. That could be any room from bathroom to study. Fix that in you notepad. Another good idea is to choose the work of one type that is required to be done in all the house. Let’s say to clean all the flat with a hoover. Write that down as well.

  • Choose the treat for each useful activity. That may be a serving of your favorite ice-cream (don’t be worried about the weight as cleaning up is a calorie burning activity), 2 hours of doing nothing or a shape and polish spa manicure. But the reward should be appropriate to the efforts made. The 15 minutes of cleaning the dust are not equal to a supper in a local restaurant. They may be worth of a piece of a cake.

  • Set up a date of the planned tidying up and fix it in your notepad. On one day you may wash all the walls and on another you may do all the laundry. The day before the planned activities look through your notepad and prepare yourself for the future work.
  • In the morning choose the best time for the cleaning. The housework requires too much energy that’s why it’s important to know when your productivity is on its peak. If you are an early riser the best time for you is from 8 a. m. to 2 p. m. But if you don’t feel like working in the mornings do the most hard part of your work since 5 p. m.
